On September 6, the music world lost celebrated musician Sergio Mendes, who brought Bossa Nova to an international audience in the 1960s with his band Brasil ’66. Jazz PHX honors his contributions with a special airing of the 2010 Bom Tempo Radio Special, hosted by Rita Houston.
